Hi, I'm David! I have always had a passion for music and teaching. I first started playing music at the age of three, when I would take all the pots and pans out of the kitchen cabinets and bang on them like drums (much to my mother’s chagrin). From there I moved on to piano, and then bass guitar. Over the years, I have learned to play many instruments, including guitar, drums, tuba, orchestral percussion… anything I could get my hands on. I studied classical music Composition at McGill University in Montreal. After my “serious” studies were concluded, I moved to Hollywood to be a part of the music scene, playing in various rock bands all over town. While working at a music store, I met my wife Jennifer, who hired me to play bass in her band. We now own and operate One Story Creations together, a performing arts studio for kids. I love to teach, and have always been more than willing to share what I know with anyone who asks. I am very patient and think that learning should be fun and not a chore. I have been teaching music for over 18 years.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
