Spring is my favorite time of year...not because of the weather, but because spring is when I get my new baby chicks! I can't wait to share my passion in raising these birds. In this class, we will discuss everything a chick needs to survive and thrive. We will talk about breeds, chicken anatomy, and the life cycle of a baby chick. During class time, we will meet the baby chicks! My chicks will be joining me in front of the computer, and we will also watch them play in their brooder box. Students are encouraged to bring their own baby chicks to class if their family is raising them. Students are also welcome to come with questions and comments as we go along. I can't wait for you to meet my feathered friends!
