This one time course will offer students the chance to learn about the Gulf of Maine and see a LIVE hermit crab, starfish, and a few other critters that live on the coast of Maine!

The Coastal Children's Museum is offering a one time class about the Gulf of Maine. In this class, learners will be able to see live creatures that can be found in the Gulf that we house in our touch tank here at the museum. We welcome learners of all experience levels to join us for this class. The class will begin with a quick presentation about where the Gulf of Maine is and what it's like there. Then we will have a show and tell style presentation where students will be able to see some live sea creatures! Some of the creatures they may see are a sea star, a hermit crab, a whelk, and even some periwinkles.
