In this one time class I will introduce you to Jethro the Leopard Gecko. Your child will learn basic tips from gecko home and health to food and fun!

Students will learn some fun facts about leopard geckos, where to buy geckos, and how to care for a pet leopard gecko. They will learn what my gecko Jethro eats, see his home and learn how I care for him each day and night. If we are lucky, we will watch him eat!!!
Learning Goals
Students will learn:
-where leopard geckos live in the wild
-leopard geckos are nocturnal (what that means)
-leopard geckos are unique because they have outer ears and eyelids
-how to set up a terrarium (temperature and humidity)
-how much visible light is needed a day
-learn that they shed and how often
-will get to see my pet gecko up close and cuddly
