Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will work on their discussion, presentation and questioning skills when showing their pet.
We will also work on creative skills by drawing our pets.
I have been a qualified teacher for 17 years and worked with SEN/neurodiverse children in alternative education for the past ten. I have vast experience of teaching children of all ability levels. Academically this class is aimed at a lower developmental age of 4-5 years. However, social interaction and discussion content will be appropriate for an older child (11-15 years).
A photo of or your pet to show the group (if your pet is usually quite loud and could distract the group, please bring a photo instead) Paper and pens/pencil/colouring pens to draw a picture of your pet.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please advise what type of pet your child will be presenting as some students may be sensitive to certain types of animals.
Although I’m a huge lover of animals, can I kindly ask that pets that may make consistent or frequent loud noises do not attend the class and a photo is brought instead please? Loud barking/growling/howling for example will be very distracting when other learners are trying to listen to the main discussion. Thank you.
