The best way to start a meditation practice is to be consistent, which is why we will meet for every day for one week! In this camp students will learn and practice a variety of meditation styles and breathing techniques. The class rhythm will start with our greeting time to check in, a mindfulness activity, breathing practice, and guided mediation story. This class is a balance of listening and sharing (if learner wants to share) their experiences. Activities for the camp are inspired by guided visualizations, mantras, positive affirmations, gratitude practice, intention setting, progressive relaxation, three-part breathing, alternate nostril breathing and more mindfulness resources.
Learning Goals
The goal is to discover which meditation or breathing practice feels right for the individual student to achieve a natural feeling of peace and confidence in their lives.

Supply List
The optimal learning environment is a quiet, comfortable space. Students may sit up or lay down for the meditation and breathing practices. I like to invite students to get cozy using pillows, blankets, or a stuffed animal.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
