CLASS EXPERIENCE: MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION. This edition can be played on PC, Android, and iOS. We will NOT be using Minecraft Java Edition. AGE RANGE: This class is designed for all ages and skill levels. Basic knowledge of English and Computers will be highly beneficial. Prior experience with Minecraft is not required. CLASS OVERVIEW: In this class we will be learning about the life of Medieval people. We will bring this history to life by using the video game of Minecraft. Medieval History is an often forgotten and confusing time in History. There is a lot that happens and this class aims to explore some of the key events. We will be looking at castles, princesses and the hard times that people went through. We will take a tour of a Medieval city through the game of Minecraft. We will get to see how they were able to take control of the seas and spread their culture throughout the world. We will see Medieval History like never before! Medieval History should not just be kept in the history books.
Learning Goals
In this lesson we will start our tour in a Medieval city. We will be learning about different events that happened during the Medieval times. We will learn why castles were built. Why the Magna Carta was signed. Why the Black Death claimed so many lives and much much more. History will be brought to life!

Parental Guidance
Some of the topics being discussed will involve sensitive topics, such as religion and war. This course will provide multiple viewpoints and come from a neutral standpoint. History is not always positive and this course will reflect this. The class is designed for children and is suitable for all ages.
Gamer tags will be required for this class. Please send me gamer tags over private message. Never share the gamer tag over the classroom chat. Messages in the classroom chat of this nature will be deleted. This is to insure protection of personal information.
Supply List
A Minecraft account (also known as Minecraft Bedrock Edition) must be purchased by the learner. Learners will receive access to the Minecraft server address to connect to. Minecraft Java Edition will NOT work. A pair of headphones and microphone are also needed.
