This is a one time course on ghost stories from Medieval Europe.

US Grade 8 - 11
In this class we will be covering Medieval ghost stories from the contemporary (historic period) accounts through to the ones that have been written about over the following centuries about Medieval figures and places. Our stories will take place from 500 CE through to the 1500s. We will be looking at kings, queens, castles, and estates. Students will learn a little Medieval history while also being introduced to the ghost story side of Medieval folklore.
I have a Master's degree in Early European (Medieval) History and I am a medieval historian who deals primarily with folklore and diseases. I have been teaching on Medieval topics for several years and I have also lectured on both Medieval and Victorian folklore.
There will be no graphic images. However, we will be discussing ghost stories; which will have narratives of people dying.
