Class Experience

I have over twenty years of experience working with and teaching students. I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics. My master's degree is in Higher Education. I also have a Juris Doctorate degree in Law. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!
Each week a lesson, quiz, and assignment will be posted in the Outschool classroom on Monday at 8 AM EST. Learners have one week to complete assignments. The teacher will provide feedback and encouragement for all assignments.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The class will include subjects that some students may be sensitive to such as deaths during the Plague and during wars. Also, religions will be discussed only in a historical, secular context. Discussions will be kept at an age-appropriate level.

The class will use external websites the enhance the learner's experience. Nearpod, Kahoot, and Gimkit do not require an account. Learners will use a code to enter and will enter their first name to activate the lesson.
