US Grade 6 - 8
No prior science or anatomy knowledge is needed! This class is designed to be approachable and educational for learners of all backgrounds. Have you ever wondered how your heart knows when to beat or how your brain tells your hand to wave? In this camp, learners will explore the amazing systems of the human body and discover how they work together to keep us healthy, moving, and alive! We'll take a guided tour through the body using PowerPoint presentations, breaking down each major system—like the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and more. Learners will learn the core functions of each system, identify key organs, and understand how everything connects in one incredible, living machine: the human body. This lesson is perfect for middle schoolers with a natural curiosity about how the body works or those considering a future in health or medicine.
