Students will be introduced to the names and functions of the 12 cranial nerves. Students will understand some of the tests used to assess cranial nerve function.
I am a research scientist with experience in cognitive neuroscience (not a practicing medical doctor), and the aim of the class is to give understanding of the functional anatomy.
Note-taking materials. OPTIONAL: a Q-tip or cotton bud a light (can be your phone's torch) a small edible item with a clear taste (e.g. a salty crisp/chip, a mint, or a sour sweet/candy) something that produces a vibration sound (e.g. a tuning fork, pair of tweezers, or even your phone's vibrate setting)
