This LIVE class is great for students who want to dig into how the media affects our everyday lives--both directly and indirectly. Students will understand bias, manipulation, importance of the freedom of press, propaganda and many other nuances that make up the media that comes at them from all sides. This class will use Nearpod to share videos, articles, and activities to help student understand the following concepts. Week 1: The Role of Media --recognize the many roles of the media...
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
