Description

Class Experience

Students will define Information and Media Literacy
Students will explore Media history and the positive and negative impacts of media
Students will develop skills to be more media savvy
Students will learn to apply critical inquiry skills to information
Experienced and credentialed Information Literacy Librarian.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will visit several major news outlet sites, so be aware of that learners may see some stories that are a part of current events depending on the time this course is taken.
