Teacher expertise and credentials
My PhD was in Maya osteology (skeletal remains) and health. I’m an archaeologist who has been excavating in the Maya region (in my case Belize) for the past 10 years. Both my PhD and my Masters focused in Maya archaeology and I am a specialist in my field. I’ve taught Maya archaeology while in Belize, and I also teach college courses. I have written multiple papers (and a book!) on Maya archaeology. I also present on the topic yearly at conferences and stay up to date on the latest archaeological news.
