In this ongoing weekly class, students will meet with other children their age to cover calendar time (days, months, year), letter names and sounds, shapes, number of the day, sight word practice, counting and so much more!

Class Experience

Morning Meeting will provide an introduction to key concepts covered in Kindergarten. We will cover a variety of topics each class! Here is our weekly schedule for Monday & Wednesday:
1. Greetings
2. Calendar: We go over the calendar and sing the Days of The Week song.
3. Introduce the letter, number, shape, color, and word of the day
4.  Mini-lesson: On Monday we have reading lessons focused on letter sounds, and on Wednesday we focus on math topics.

This class is taught in English.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Google Slides
Youtube

1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

The course will follow google slides with the content taught with screen sharing. As well, I will be using Youtube to show fun and interesting videos to help aid learning and movement. No accounts will be needed for the course.
