Class Experience
US Grade 8 - 12
Do you need some help with Math or Chemistry or Physics? I have been teaching all levels of math and Chemistry and Physics for many years to all sorts of students. I can make the content understandable and help you gain confidence. Let me help you. Let me know what topics you need to understand, and I will help you better grasp the concepts. I can help you with any topic in the math levels from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. In addition, I can help you with Chemistry and Physics. Together, we can get you where you want to be. During each private session, the teacher will share his screen on which he will be able to write for the student to view. In this manner, the session will allow the student to ask questions and get immediate feedback and assistance. The student can send the teacher questions and sample problems that will be addressed in class. This provides for a very interactive environment despite being in a virtual setting. Here are topics that I can help you with (this is not an exhaustive list): Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1: Order of Operations Word Problems Solving Equations Graphing Geometry: Graphing Area and Volume Proofs Right Triangles Polygons Circles Trigonometry: Right Triangles Trig Functions - Sine, Cos, Tan, Sec, Csc, Cot, and the inverse functions Trig Identities Triangle and Vectors Polar Coordinate System Pre-Calc: Functions and Graphs Lines and Rates of Change Sequences and Series Polynomial and Rational Functions Exponential and Logarithmic Functions Analytic Geometry Linear Algebra and Matrices Probability and Statistics Chemistry: Atomic and Molecular Structure Chemical Bonds Stoichiometry Writing balanced equations Definition of the mole Oxidation and reduction reactions Balancing oxidation-reduction reactions Acids and Bases Gases Problems using the ideal gas law in the form PV=nRT Chemical Solutions Definitions of solute and solvent Dissolving process as a result of random molecular motion Temperature, pressure, and surface area–their effect the dissolving process Concentration of a solute in terms of grams per liter, molarity, parts per million and percent composition Relationship between the molality of solute in a solution, and the solution's freezing point depression or boiling point elevation Rates of Chemical Reactions Chemical Equilibrium Le Chatelier's Principle Forward and reverse reaction rates and equilibrium Equilibrium constant expression for a reaction Thermodynamics Physics: Kinematics Velocity-TIme Graphs Newton's Laws of Motion Friction Vectors and Projectiles Maximizing the Range of a Projectile Forces in Two-Dimensions Momentum and Collisions Inelastic Collisions Elastic Collisions Work and Energy Circular Motion and Gravitation Orbital Motion Static Electricity Coulomb's Law Electric Circuits Voltage and Resistance Series and Parallel Circuits Vibrations and Waves Vibrations and Waves: Period of a Pendulum Light and Color Reflection and Mirrors Refraction and Lenses

Teacher expertise and credentials
Wisconsin Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
Learning is so much fun and helping others learn is a passion of mine.
I am a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 6-12, Chemistry for grades 9-12, and Physical Science for grades 6-12
I have been teaching professionally for over 25 years. I have been very fortunate to have taught in four different countries in public, private, and online schools. My experience has allowed me to develop different teaching approaches, appreciate different learning styles, and acquire a portfolio of solid best practices to help you learn the subject material.
We all can learn, and we all want to learn. Sometimes support, direction, and instruction are needed for optimal understanding. I can provide that. I enjoy teaching and would love to help you.
I keep learning. Presently, I am trying to retain my French and Spanish, learn some Korean, and have gained a keen interest in learning how to code. It keeps my mind active.
Join me and we can learn together. I look forward to working with you.
