Whether your learner needs extra support, enjoys a challenge, or wants to build confidence, this program is designed for mastery, engagement, and successโensuring they are fully prepared for the next level of math. ๐ What Sets Mathletes Apart? ๐ In our supportive and engaging classroom, both homeschooled and traditionally schooled learners come together to strengthen problem-solving skills, boost confidence, and develop a deep understanding of math concepts. Our curriculum is aligned with 7th-grade standards and led by a certified educator, providing expert instructionโall from the comfort of home! ๐ Inside Our Classroom ๐ Each week, we explore a new math concept, beginning with engaging warm-ups to review previous lessons and reinforce understanding. Using the "I do, we do, you do" approach, learners actively engage in guided instruction, practice exercises, and independent problem-solving. Every session concludes with a student-chosen Gimkit game to apply skills in an exciting and interactive way! ๐ Ongoing Learning Support ๐ For additional practice, learners receive five days of extra teacher-created printables each week, complete with answer keys and video explanations via YouTube. This allows students to review at their own pace, track progress, and reinforce learning between sessions. ๐ป Interactive Learning with Nearpod ๐ป Nearpod provides an engaging, interactive experience where learners can share their work, ask questions, and receive real-time feedback. Whether they prefer digital activities or traditional paper-and-pencil methods, every learner can participate in a way that works best for them. โญ Weโre a Team โญ To keep parents informed and involved, I provide a monthly newsletter with weekly topics, updates, and learning tips so you can support your childโs progress. Learning Goals
Develop fluency with integers and rational numbers โ Students will master adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positive and negative integers, fractions, and decimals in real-world applications.

Learners will use Nearpod and Gimkit during the class. No logins are requiredโjust the provided link to access both platforms. These tools make learning engaging and fun while mastering key math concepts!
Pre-Requisites
Familiarity with 6th Grade Math: Learners should have a basic understanding of 5th and/or 6th-grade math concepts such as fractions, decimals, and basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Supply List
Learners should bring a whiteboard and marker or paper and pencil to each lesson, especially if they prefer to work offline instead of using digital platforms. This will help them actively participate, solve problems, and write out their work during each session.
