🎉 Welcome, Mathletes! 🎉

Welcome to Mathletes – where your learner’s math journey begins! Our program is focused on mastery, engagement, and confidence-building, making math enjoyable and accessible. Whether your child is homeschooled or in a traditional classroom, we create a supportive and cooperative learning environment where everyone thrives!

This year, we’ll dive into 7th-grade math, building a strong foundation with the help of Nearpod’s gamification. Your child will receive expert guidance from a certified educator in the comfort of your home, ensuring success in math.

📓 Inside Our Classroom 📓
Each week, we’ll explore a new 7th-grade topic with warm-ups and mini-lessons to ensure a strong foundation. The “I do, we do, you do” model helps learners practice with guidance, then transition to independent tasks. We wrap up each session with a student-chosen Gimkit game to reinforce multiplication facts. 🎮

📚 Ongoing Learning Support 📚
To reinforce learning, your child will receive teacher-created printables for 5 days of practice. After each class, a YouTube review link will be provided for self-assessment. Periodically, I’ll share notes and additional printables to support learners and parents.

💻 What is Nearpod? 💻
Nearpod is an interactive platform that empowers students to actively participate. Learners can showcase their work, ask questions, and get personalized feedback in real-time. It’s easy to access – just copy the class link or enter the Nearpod app code. Your child can also use paper and pencil while engaging with the lesson on Zoom screen share. 📲

⭐ We’re a Team! ⭐
I’ll send a monthly newsletter with updates, weekly topics, and tips for supporting your child at home. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns – let’s work together to create a nurturing environment where your child can thrive!
