Students will use their MATHletes energy to build their math skills through fun, interactive games. Each session will begin with an ice breaker so everyone can get to know each other a bit. Then, the students will participate in a mini lesson of the math topic of the day to help refresh their prior knowledge. Then the games begin! We will end each session with a different short game to help students wind down after an awesome learning session. Week of 3/4/25: Place value Week of 3/11/25: Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators Week of 3/18/25: Multiplying fractions Week of 3/25/25: Dividing fractions by whole numbers Week of 4/1/25: Add and subtract decimals *week off* Week of 4/15/25: Multiplying decimals Week of 4/22/25: Dividing decimals Week of 4/29/25: Volume Week of 5/6/25: Coordinate graphs Week of 5/13/25: Measurement **Note: This club is designed for students who have prior knowledge already on the math topics.
