📓 Inside Our Classroom 📓
Each week, we’ll explore a new 5th-grade topic, reinforcing concepts with warm-ups and mini-lessons to ensure a deep understanding. We use the “I do, we do, you do” model, starting with guided practice before transitioning to independent exercises. Gimkit games wrap up each session, reinforcing multiplication facts while making learning fun! 🎮

📚 Ongoing Learning Support 📚
After each class, your child will receive teacher-created printables for additional practice to reinforce the lessons and build mastery. We’ll also provide a YouTube review link for learners to assess their understanding and improve. Periodically, I’ll share helpful notes and printables for both learners and parents throughout the year.

💻 What is Nearpod? 💻
Nearpod is a free interactive tool that allows students to actively participate at their comfort level. With real-time feedback, students can showcase their work, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance. It’s easy to access—your child can join by using the provided class link or code in the Nearpod app. If they prefer paper and pencil, they can still engage as all materials are displayed on the Zoom screen. 📲

⭐ We’re a Team! ⭐
I’ll be sharing a monthly newsletter with important updates, weekly topics, and helpful tips for supporting your learner at home. You’re always welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns. Let’s work together to create a nurturing environment where your child can thrive!
