Mathematics Tutoring for Middle and High School Math - 40 Minute Session
In this 40 minute session, I will tutor and coach the student on mathematics. The session can focus on homework, test preparation or reviews, or reviewing specific topics. Algebra I or II, Geometry, or Trigonometry can be included.

This is a 40 minute tutoring session that will assist the student on Mathematics topics in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra II, or Pre-Calculus based on individual need. The student can request help with homework, or with test preparation, or with review of a test, or a focused session on an area of difficulty such as word problems or calculations. The session can be structured to the student's needs, but I will suggest the student be ready to share questions they have from their homework or tests. The session will be interactive. On occasion, I may have prepared material for teaching particular sub-topics.
Learning Goals
Student will receive assistance on Mathematics specific to their individual needs. The goals are for the student to close gaps they might have in particular mathematical subject areas or procedures, and for the student to gain confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Hello!
I am Peter Kane and am pleased to be able to offer you classes on Outschool! I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics and have several years of teaching and tutoring experience in Mathematics and other subjects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also have decades of global industry experience in the technology sector, teaching classes, problem solving computer issues, and managing employees. I am well-versed in computer technology.
I was fortunate as a student to have outstanding teachers that coached me to do the best I could. They pointed out ways I could improve my skills, and they provided guidance to help me find my way beyond school. In keeping with the teaching tradition, I would like to offer my experience to assist today's students in the same way I was assisted.
In addition to mathematics and computers, I love history and music and have a lot to offer in those topics. Music, for example, is very much related to mathematics! I read extensively and love discussing books.
