In this ongoing class students learn to think mathematically as they progress through levels 5A/5B in the Singapore Math curriculum (Dimensions Math), gaining skills in problem-solving, mental math, and math concepts.

Upon completion of this class, students should be able to: -Understand expressions and the order of operations -Divide by 2-digit numbers -Add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions with fluency -Find the area of triangles and other complex figures -Find the volume of cuboids and other shapes
I am a certified elementary teacher who has been teaching hands-on math to young children for over 20 years. I have taught in a variety of settings, including public school, private school, and homeschool environments. I have been helping kids learn to love math on Outschool for over 3 years.
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to complete 4-8 pages of homework each week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
