By using manipulatives, students can physically manipulate objects to solve problems, which can greatly enhance their understanding of these fundamental arithmetic operationsLesson 2Modeling EquationsIn this lesson we will progress to drawing visual representations of various equations in a fact familyLesson 3Fact Family HousesStudents will create a fact family house. Creating a fact family house not only makes learning enjoyable but also helps students visualize and internalize the concept of fact families.Lesson 4Number BondsStudents will create number bonds to further understand how fact families work. They will also try to find the "mystery number."Lesson 5ReviewStudents will be given an assessment to show what they have learned.
