In this one-time class, students will color circles at the bottom of a graph paper while learning/reviewing color words. (paper PDF link will be provided) The students will open a box of colored candy and sort the candy by color on the graph paper. I will lead a discussion about comparisons between the different colors, using math concepts such as more, less, most, fewest, etc. Then students will be encouraged to color the graph to represent the colors of their candy.
