This flexible scheduling class is designed for young learners to practice early math skills using hands-on activities, songs, games and more. This class has NO live meetings, which allows learners to complete the course work at a flexible pace and provides opportunities for individualized feedback from the instructor. Students will develop number recognition, counting strategies, sequencing, sorting, patterning, shapes, colors and simple addition/subtraction skills. Students will be able to follow instructions to complete hands-on activities such as number writing, coloring and counting and simple games. Students will learn and use key math vocabulary throughout class. Students will share their learning with others in the flexible classroom.
I am a licensed Elementary Education teacher with over 10 years experience teaching both in the classroom and online. My primary experience is teaching in preschool and kindergarten. I'm an energetic and enthusiastic educator and I love teaching math online.
