Class Experience

Math is a "language" our students must master. So many times I have seen students miss problems or fail tests due to the lack of understanding the vocabulary.  After the test, I'd ask a student to "solve” 3 x 4. They could do it. Yet, they couldn't "evaluate" 3 x 4. It means the same! Let's eliminate this problem in a fun way.  Before the game begins, vocabulary words are reviewed. I will share my screen, and students will be able to use their annotation tool to circle words.   Sometimes the...
