Class Experience
As a person who struggled with math as a student, I can empathize with and relate to students as they try to learn new and difficult concepts. I display patience with the learners, give them time to respond, and offer encouragement for their efforts. Students should be made to feel comfortable when they are willing to participate in class. I have been teaching math (as a classroom teacher and tutor) for 25+ years. As a person who struggled with math as a student, I can empathize with and relate to students as they try to learn new and difficult concepts. A lot of encouragement goes a long way.
Learners should complete their practice worksheets. Daily practice is extremely helpful in order to master the material learned in class. Parents are to monitor their learner’s homework assignments and check the answers.
- Math-U-See Geometry Student Workbook **Purchase new - Math-U-See Geometry Instruction Manual (The back of the book contains line-listed answers to the student workbook and tests.) **You can find many used ones on Amazon. - Pencil/Pen - Calculator (as needed)
