Class Experience

Thank you for your interest in my math tutoring!  This is a great step toward supporting your child's math skills and helping them become confident in math.   I am so happy you are here. :)  

My name is Jennifer Boham, and I am a certified teacher, and was a brick and mortar teacher for 10 years before joining Outschool. 

Each meeting, your learner will be met with a patient, kind, warm and seasoned math teacher. 

Once you have scheduled a tutoring time, please answer the following...

I will tailor a tutoring session to meet the needs of your learner based on the information you provide in response to these questions: 

1. What grade level is your child currently in?
2. What skills are they working on in school right now?
3. Has your child's teacher given you specific feedback on areas for needed focus?
4. Do you have a specific skill that you would like me to work on with your learner, or would you like tutoring to be focused on supporting what your child is learning in school?
5. Is there anything else about your child that you would like me to know to help me get to know them?

I will provide recommended assignments. These are optional, but will support the learning and focus of the tutoring session.

Please make sure your learner has a dry erase board and marker ready at the computer for each class.  Other math materials may be necessary.

45 minutes per class, and maybe some time outside of class.
