For many students, studying math can be a struggle. One to one tutoring is an effective way to overcome this by individualizing instruction to create a space where the student experiences success and growth as a learner. I offer tutoring for any situation - homeschool grade/age level curriculum, extra practice with concepts and homework help with specific assignments. If you are unsure of what concepts to focus the instruction on, I can assess your student during our first session to help determine our instructional plan. In each 30 minute session, we start with our hellos and then we will begin a review of the previous week’s concepts (if applicable). We will continue to work with that concept if necessary, otherwise we begin our exploration of the next concept. I work to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere for the student to feel at ease so that they are ready to develop their math muscles! Students will need a math notebook/pencil or white board/marker to work with our problems that session. I will also be using the Zoom whiteboard with students. Following each session, I will message you with a report about what we accomplished and recommendations for continued concept practice. Let me know if you have any questions about my tutoring program. I look forward to meeting and working with your student! *Please message me before our first session with information about what concepts you’d like me to focus on (or send a copy of the homework page(s) to be completed) so that I can prepare for the session. **If you would like to have multiple sessions in a week, please select multiple sections for that week. ***If you do not see a day/time you need listed, please message me with the day/time you are looking for. I may have availability on that day/time to open a section for you.
