An engaging & FUN one-on-one tutoring session to help your child who is struggling with 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade math. You can choose a specific topic to work on (fractions, multiplication...etc.) or bring homework to the session.
Class experience
In this 60 minute tutoring session, the focus is on improving the student's confidence & skills in math topics they are struggling with. I have two options for the session. 1) Topic Request: Students can request a topic they need additional support in, and I will create a plan for unit plan for bringing the student up to grade level. For example, for a 4th grader who is struggling with fractions, we may work on equivalent fractions one week, comparing fractions the next week, and then...

Students will improve their skill in specific math topics by receiving multiple opportunities to practice and lots of helpful feedback.
I taught 4th Grade for 2 years and have experience tutoring students in 3rd-7th grade in math.
I use pdfs and resources from Mix & Math (with permission). We'll use digital manipulatives from toytheater.com as well.
