Learners are informally assessed throughout the tutoring session. The teacher makes note of which skills the learner may need additional instruction and support in, and tailors current and future meetings to meet the learner's specific needs.Class Experience
US Grade 6 - 10
Beginner - Advanced Level
This class is designed to give your child one on one math support and additional instruction when needed. In the first session I will interview the student to gauge their mathematical skill level, find out what particular mathematical topics & skills they need help with, and establish goals for future sessions. In following sessions, the student may request help with specific mathematical concepts, and/or I will provide instruction based the areas that they need the most improvement for success. I also help with test preparation and test taking strategies. I like to keep an active conversation with my students through the Outschool classroom, so that I can prepare materials for upcoming tutoring sessions. Students can also communicate when they have upcoming tests so that additional tutoring sessions can be scheduled if needed.

Please come prepared to class with the following: 2 Sharpened pencils with erasers Lined Paper or Notebook Calculator Any Assigned Homework from math class that you need assistance on Math Book Mathematical supplies to the subject matter or concept we are working on (Examples: ruler, compass, protractor, graph paper)
