Class Experience
-Understanding key mathematical concepts -Improvement of foundational math skills -Understanding of mathematical vocabulary & terminology -Strategies for test preparation -Strategies for managing test taking anxiety
Additional practice of mathematical concepts, vocabulary, and strategies may be recommended for mastery as needed.
Please come prepared to class with the following: 2 Sharpened pencils with erasers Lined Paper or Notebook Calculator Any Assigned Homework from math class that you need assistance on Math Book Mathematical supplies to the subject matter or concept we are working on (Examples: ruler, compass, protractor, graph paper)
Learners are informally assessed throughout the tutoring session. The teacher makes note of which skills the learner may need additional instruction and support in, and tailors current and future meetings to meet the learner's specific needs.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
