The topics covered will depend on the learner’s grade level, needs, and goals. Potential areas include: • Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). • Fractions, decimals, and percentages. • Algebra and geometry concepts. • Pre-calculus, calculus, and advanced math topics. • Word problems, critical thinking, and test-taking strategies. How is your class structured? Each session lasts one hour and is structured as follows: • First 10 minutes: Review of previous concepts and a warm-up activity. • Next 40 minutes: Focused instruction and practice tailored to the learner’s needs. • Last 10 minutes: Recap, Q&A, and strategies for independent practice. How will you teach? I use a highly personalized approach, adapting my teaching style to match the learner’s pace and preferred method of learning. Lessons include: • Interactive problem-solving. • Visual aids such as digital whiteboards and step-by-step examples. • Engaging practice questions to reinforce concepts. What’s your teaching style? My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and supportive. I focus on building confidence in math by simplifying complex concepts and celebrating small wins along the way. I aim to make math engaging and less intimidating for learners of all ages. How much will learners get to interact with you?
