In this semester class, I will walk students through the skills needed to understand and confidently answer problems in Pre-Algebra. I will demonstrate the steps needed to solve the problem and have the students watch. Then the students will work through several problems with me and be encouraged to talk me through solving the problems. By the end of the semester course, learners will be able to answer Semester 1 of Pre-Algebra problems confidently .
I'm a certified math teacher and have taught middle school math for 8 years. I've worked with students who have learning disabilities as well as students who are gifted.
Paper, pencil, calculator a few weeks into the course and a good attitude :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
