Description

Class Experience

Students will read, represent, compare and order fractions, decimals and percents.
Students will use benchmark numbers to compare and order.
Students will develop an understanding of the relationship between fractions, decimals and percent.
As a system leader in education, I have been focusing on improving math instruction in my school district for many years. I have presented at many conferences and feel very passionate about building a positive math mindset in students of all ages.  Most importantly, I have watched many students build a solid math foundation through participating in math talks.  
A few follow-up questions for at-home practice will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will contribute their thinking to the chat and teacher will support as needed.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
