Class Experience

Math fluency is important because it contributes to students’ ability to solve more difficult problems quickly and accurately, leads to success in future mathematics courses and careers, and builds confidence in students’ math ability. 

Students will be taught strategies to support addition and subtraction fluency within 20.

Re-Engagement Learning Opportunities will be posted at the end of each class for practice and mastery.

Printable manipulatives, work mats, and guide sheets will be posted 24 hours before class. While they are not required they will be beneficial for students to use during instruction.

Informal assessment and teacher anecdotal notes will be shared
