Class Experience

Math occurs every day! In this course, students will be presented word problems based on real-life situations to help understand the practical application of math. Do they need to add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve the problems? In each class, students will practice identifying keywords to help them determine the operation needed in order to answer the questions. Students will learn how to apply math skills to everyday situations.

There is no homework for this class.

Students will need a pencil and paper for this class! A calculator is optional, but not required.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
