Description
Class Experience
Students will review their skills regarding PEMDAS, Multiplication, Long Division, and Fractions through practice in the class. Students will be posed with multiple questions and alternate turns to solve problems on the screen, while working one on one with the teacher during class via chat to solve problems
I am an elementary and middle school math and science teacher, and have privately tutored math to elementary students and high school students for several years. I have been a teacher for 12 years. I like to focus in on skills that work with students to help them be successful in solving problems and identify areas of weakness to help students catch mistakes to gain fluency in skills.
Students are provided additional practice outside of class time, and an answer key is provided to correct afterwards.
Math problems will be provided. Students will need scrap paper or whiteboard to work on problems as students should show work. Students will be provided supplemental practice from math-aids.com.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Practice materials will come from math-aids.com for students to practice outside of class. Students will use paper and pencil during class (or whiteboards if preferred)
