I have a communications degree with expertise in public speaking and group discussions. I have a teaching degree and experience working with kids of all ages.
I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university, online or private tutoring sector.I have experience teaching 1st through middle school students.   I have a dynamic teaching style and animated approach to teaching and learning.  I've taken morning meeting and writers notebook workshops and have years of classroom experience implementing this in my classroom and tutoring sessions. I'm trained to teach Saxon math in grades 1-4 and utilize a variety of methods in order to be successful.   I have been Charlotte Mason trained through Ambleside. I am a mental health workshop facilitator which provides resiliency skills to kids through games, role playing, crafts and socratic group discussions. My socratic discussion style helps all kids look beyond the surface and critically think for themselves. Teaching is my passion and I'm always looking for new ways to connect with students and families.
