Description
Class Experience
During class time, students will learn a specific problem-solving strategy and use these techniques to help them understand and solve complex word problems. When considering 21st century skills, critical thinking and creativity are a top priority. In order to help develop these very important skills, students need to be exposed to problem-solving activities regularly. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will sometimes use a platform called "Classkick." This allows students to write responses, while I can view their screens and provide real-time feedback. This allows me to see students' individual thinking, especially if they don't feel comfortable answering out loud within the group. Students do not need an account to use this tool! This tool will only be used in the context of live lessons.
