Math Private Tutoring: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trig
These 1:1 sessions will help students become confident and successful in their math classes. Students should bring all their questions. We can work on homework questions, prepare for upcoming tests (including ACT/SAT) or correct mistakes.

Sometimes a student just needs an explanation from a different teacher. I am passionate about providing instruction to help students master math topics. I would like students to bring to our session any question types that they are struggling to comprehend. Together, we will work through the problems. When necessary, I will provide instruction on any foundational knowledge that is preventing them from being successful. I will also provide extra practice if we finish early or the student does not bring many quesitons to our session. We can cover any topic from core to advanced levels to SAT/ACT test questions. Example Topics: Integers Solving simple equations Solving quadratic equations Real and complex numbers Solving a right triangle Graphing conic sections
Learning Goals
Students should be able apply practical stratagies to solve the math problems they bring to the session. This will sometimes include
memorizing a few vocabulary terms or a shortcut list which helps them break down hard problems. They will learn to look at a new problem and apply what they know in order to solve it.

Supply List
Bring your quesitons. If you are preparing for a test, bring a list of topics covered on the test. Have paper, a calculator, and pencil with you.
