Each day builds confidence through hands-on activities, practice games, and interactive discussion. Whether your learner needs extra support or just wants a fun review of key math skills, this camp is the perfect place to grow! Place Value Basics
Objective: Understand ones, tens, and hundreds using visual models and build numbers using place value. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Comparing & Ordering Numbers
Objective: Use place value to compare and order 2- and 3-digit numbers with >, <, and = symbols. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Addition with Regrouping
Objective: Add 2- and 3-digit numbers using vertical stacking and regrouping, supported by place value understanding. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Subtraction with Borrowing
Objective: Subtract 2- and 3-digit numbers using borrowing strategies and apply skills to real-world problems. 40 mins online live lesson
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students should be familiar with the basics of single and double digit addition and subtraction without regrouping. They may struggle with regrouping and borrowing, that's the focus of the class!
Supply List
Students should have a paper, pencil, and four function calculator (to double check calculations, not to generate answers).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
