Description
Class Experience
First, we will start out with a math talk. This is a visual mental math mini-lesson used to practice mental math strategies as well as see modeling of thinking skills. Then, we will look at word problems from a literacy and math perspective so students can master step one, which is to understand what is happening in the story and what are they asking them to find out. We will be using Nearpod, so this way I am able to see the students' thinking. After I model and we discuss the scenario, the...
