This course will cover fact fluency skills needed for middle math! Week 1: "Introduction to Times Tables: The Power of Multiples" Get started with understanding the concept of times tables and their importance. Begin with the 1s and 2s tables, emphasizing patterns and visual aids. Week 2: "Mastering the 3s Times Table: Patterns and Tricks" Dive into the 3s times table, focusing on recognizing patterns and learning memory aids. Use games and challenges to reinforce the facts. Week 3: "The 4s and 5s Times Tables: Building Fluency" Practice the 4s and 5s times tables through interactive activities and exercises. Explore strategies to quickly recall these facts. Week 4: "Exploring the 6s and 7s Times Tables: Strategies for Success" Focus on mastering the 6s and 7s times tables with tips for efficient memorization and practice through engaging drills. Week 5: "The 8s Times Table: Patterns and Practice" Delve into the 8s times table, using pattern recognition and multiplication tricks. Incorporate hands-on activities to enhance retention. Week 6: "The 9s Times Table: Tricks and Techniques" Master the 9s times table with unique tricks such as finger patterns and visual cues. Reinforce learning through interactive games. Week 7: "Mixed Times Tables Challenge: 1s through 9s" Review and practice all the times tables learned so far. Implement a variety of drills, quizzes, and timed challenges to build fluency. Week 8: "Multiplication Mastery Showcase: Games and Competitions" Celebrate the completion of the bootcamp with a fun, competitive showcase. Include games and activities that test all times tables in a lively setting. Class Structure: Students will learn and practice multiplication facts from families 2 - 12. Each session will conclude with students documenting their efficiency and accuracy! The class structure is build fact knowledge needed to do well in middle math (6th, 7th and 8th grade). The ongoing class is offered every Wednesday and Friday. Please select your preferred day of the week. You can join or leave at any time! The more session your student attends the more they will improve in accuracy and efficiency! Teaching Style: Student-Centered !!! Fact Fluency Gaming and discussions !!! Research proves that a student-centered instructional model is key to learning! Interaction Level: Medium to High !!! Students will have an opportunity to engage with me and each other through games, video clips and discussions! It is my first priority to ensure the safety of all students so open chat and open microphone will be limited. All interactive activities are selected to maximize learning while providing a safe environment to do so!

External resources will be used to enhance learning. These resources will be used during class time via screen share or during independent work time. Some external resources used will require student accounts which will be activated and assigned by the teacher at no additional cost to you. The teacher will assign generic (no personal identifiers) username/passwords for each student. The student will only have access to their generic accounts while enrolled in my course.
