Class Experience

**CLASS PAUSED FOR SUMMER BREAK AFTER CLASS on 6/1/22 will return in August**

Each week we will cover a new 6th Grade math topic so you can sign up for the topics you want and skip the ones you don't! 

In this class I want to help learners feel confident in mastering 6th grade math concepts. This class can be used as a supplement to deepen learning from their school course, fill in gaps in understanding on key topics, or to just get a head start on 6th grade math. As a classroom math...

The goal is that students develop a growth mindset about their math abilities and master 6th grade content at the same time!

I will not require homework but I will recommend they continue to practice at home.  I will provide a homework option for those who would like to complete one.

Pen or Pencil
I will also provide a PDF with guided notes each week and additional problems to practice after class.

35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

We may use Blooket as a practice game.  Students will NOT need to log in or any provide personal information.  They will NOT need an account.  I provide a short code in class for them to access the live game so only students in the class will have access. They can use their computer and do not need a separate device.
