Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
The goal is that by the end of class students will have mastered how to turn any subtraction problem into an addition problem, use their tiles to prove why they can make that change, and know when changing it to addition may or may not be helpful.
I will not require homework but I will recommend that they continue to practice at home. I will provide a suggested practice and a fun way to create their own practice problems.
 2 files available upon enrollment
Pen or Pencil I will provide a PDF of Integer Tiles that students should cut out prior to class. I will also provide a PDF with guided notes and additional problems to practice after class which should be printed out for class if possible.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
