Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
The goal is that by the end of class students will have mastered the use of tiles to a point where they can use the tiles to solve simple problems like 3+(-7) or -2+(-10) but also have the ability to simply visualize the tiles to solve harder problems like 35+(-200) where it would be too much work to build with tiles.
I will not require homework but I will recommend that they continue to practice at home. I will provide extra problems for them to practice and a fun way to create their own practice problems.
 2 files available upon enrollment
Pen or Pencil I will provide a PDF of Integer Tiles that students should cut out prior to class. I will also provide a PDF with guided notes and additional problems to practice after class which should be printed out for class if possible.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
