Coach Cal (Calenna) is late diagnosed with ADHD and autism. They have also worked with children with learning disabilities for over ten years, since they were in middle school. Coach Cal has received their Master’s in Liberal Studies and also has a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Philosophy, with a concentration in studio art. Coach Cal is experienced with tutoring math for students of all ages, as well as some English/writing. Coach Cal is proficient in all subjects, as they were valedictorian in high school. Coach Cal has taken and passed AP calculus with a 5 on the exam, so they are well versed in all levels of math. Coach Cal was also previously a math major, so she has a bit of experience through Calculus B. All other coaches who also teach this class have years of teaching/tutoring experience, have worked with kids with special needs, and/or undergo training with Coach Cal.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
