Aloha mai ‘oukou (hello you folks!) In this course we will learn makemakika (math.) We will learn nā helu (numbers), waihoʻoluʻu (colors), kiko (shapes), & nā mea (all things math related.) There are multiple techinuqes in which will be used to hoʻomōhala (blossom) their makemakika manaʻo (math knowledge) through counting, singing, stories, & haʻawina (activities.) We will learn hua ʻōlelo (Hawaiian vocabulary) Prior manaʻo (knowledge) isnʻt needed for this course.
This class is taught in English.
Nā haumana (students) will engage in makemakika haʻawina (math activities) in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi.
Nā kala (crayons) Nā peni (markers) Check your leka ʻuila (messages) for the pepa haʻawina (activities that need to be printed.)
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
