Teacher expertise and credentials
California Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
I have 10 years of experience as an elementary school teacher; currently I teach 3rd grade in a virtual public school.
I see 3rd grade students struggle with multiplication and division as well as other basic 3rd grade skills. My hope is to teach small group classes to build confidence in students who are struggling to understand the basic concepts (basic math facts, reading fluency, and reading comprehension).
I have years of experience working in a public school as well as a Masters Degree in Education. I will bring my years of knowledge and patience to each of my classes. I look forward to helping your child fill in the gaps through interactive classes, notes, and games. I will also provide you with notes from the class so you can practice at home.
I have a very fun and active family. Two daughters (ages 4 and 8) and a mini zoo (horses, guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, a snake, cats, and dogs). We love to explore the outdoors and spending as much family time together as we can!
